What happened next? A good question to ask.
Drinks from a bottle, a cup, a can, and a flask.
Relax in the hot tub and drinks, drinks, drinks!
Spoiler alert! Luckily nobody sinks.
Snow angels in dripping wet suits.
No snow pants or jackets and even no boots.
And once we were all pruned inside and out,
We were so famished, without any doubt
So our peraonal chef – one of our twelve
Cooked up some grub into which we did delve
And we ate and we ate and we ate, ate, ate!
Thank you Chef Tup. Your food was quite great!
The next day was skiing and riding and lunch.
It was probably the Village Cafe. We ate there a bunch.
More hot tub and foosball and food later that night.
The drinks were made strong, but we put up a fight.
One night held a great game of Jenga in store.
All of the blocks were stacked on top, going ceiling to floor
Finger nails were chewed, hearts were racing ’til that tower ceased
There wasn’t a single move left when Tup pulled the last piece
Wednesday was more of all of the same.
But I promise you this: it was far, far from lame.
Under one lift, we spotted a great big bull moose!
How cool it was to see a moose on the loose!
Speaking of those great big, lovable moose.
We found a Mangy one that served us some booze.
The Mangy Moose is a sweet little bar at the foot of hill.
Once again we drank and we drank until we got our fill.
We danced and we twirled as we made our way back.
Gloom started to set; the next day we would pack.
So at the end of the next ski day, we toasted good friends,
A great week, and the joys that Jackson Hole lends.
Okay. There’s one thing I have to admit.
That night we turned out the lamps ’til nothing was lit
And we late twenty-somethings played a few rounds of Sardines
And J Star hid best with the big fuzzy bear, she was the queen.
We have a few rules that must be observed.
Number one: For pain only are tears reserved.
Number two: (tee hee) You must have fun.
Not to hard with friends, and snow, and sun.
Did I mention the waffles at the top of the tram?
We rode to the top to see the mountain in all of its glam.
While we were there, we ate those waffles I mentioned before.
Brown sugar butter or lemon on waffles galore!
Another great ski week, to which few things come close.
Thanks to our planner. You hit it right on the nose!
