And no…I am not referring to Peyton’s team’s performance. The dogs didn’t even want that. They left it for the birds who just flew right by those scraps. I wish it wasn’t that way. I didn’t really care who won The Bowl yesterday – I like both teams – but I at least wanted a game. Plus, the egos of all those people who like Brady just grew 47 times bigger.
But I digress. What I meant was, this Super Bowl belongs to these dogs:
Especially Ginger, the Old English Sheepdog who got a flag for “unnecessary bathing” when she played in the water bowl a little too aggressively.
It also belonged to this dog who made me cry at work where I initially watched the video and then made my eyes water in front of friends during the game:
I guess I’m a sucker for yellow Labs, since I have one and she’s one of the greatest dogs ever. (Just FYI- the best dog award is a three-way tie between all of the dogs that I have ever owned.)
The Super Bowl also belongs to this creepy creature created by Audi:
Thanks for the nightmares German automotive engineers. I slept well. Oh wait. No I didn’t.
Speaking of car companies, I’d really like to say thank you to Subaru for the puppy family commercials. These pups were stars:
I think that the cuteness meter broke during those commercials because of this image:
A puppy in a car seat could only be cuter if he was wearing pajamas.
