Just so you know, weddings are really expensive.
I was browsing the world wide web this evening trying to get some wedding inspiration. I have a cake to eat, a deejay to help guests burn the calories from the cake and a place to…er…deposit the cake when the guests are “done” with it. Which is great, but I still need some details.
You have to spend a lot of money weddings, but that’s okay. It’s going to be really, ridiculously fun and I also can’t wait to marry the love of my life.
So, anyway, back to browsing the world wide web. Apparently, one of the trends for 2014 is getting Nuptial Insurance. In case someone in the party gets cold feet or – as was the case in the article – the limo doesn’t show up.
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best – that’s what all of my vendors keep telling me. I really want to chalk it up to them being sour patch kids, but I know that things can happen.
But regardless, Adam, if you are reading this, no cold feet please!
In other wedding news: our Save the Dates are done and they are perfect and I want to jump up and down for like 30 years because they are exactly what I had in mind. A huge thank you to Adam’s aunt for designing the Save the Date of my dreams! This wedding has started out really well.
I want to tell all of you, my blog friends, every single one of the small, awesome details about my wedding because it’s so amazing and I’m super pumped about it.
But alas, I want some of it to be a surprise. For those of you whom we could afford to invite (and I’m really, really sorry to those of you who weren’t on that list. I wish we could invite every one we know.), you’ll get to see the awesome Save the Dates really soon!
