Do you know what today is?
It’s the day of my 100th post!
By the end of this post, you’ll have suffered through over 100 ridiculous stories of mine. Thank you! I am extremely grateful.
In honor of my 100th post I’ve decided to participate in the 100 Days of Happiness challenge.
It’s been a tough few months and I have a tough couple of months left. Every day I apply for jobs and every day I get letters saying “While your qualifications are impressive, they weren’t good enough.” My fiancé is halfway across the country in a state in which I long to live. My sports and recreational activities are winding down because I can’t commit for the next season (for absolutely awesome reason, but that’s not helping my point). There is very little written in my planner. My work has asked me to give up my most of my responsibilities so that my co-workers can begin to take over my responsibilities.
Then, when you have mornings when the cleaning lady didn’t clean the office; you spill your coffee on you shirt, sweater and pants; and your printer won’t work, it makes everything seem so much worse. I’d normally would laugh at 2/3 of that. (The cleaning thing is not amusing because the cleaning lady only comes once a week and we cleaned out the fridge yesterday,)
That’s not me. I have a lot of things going for me right now and I would like to take the time and effort to appreciate them. And so, I am participating in the 100 Days of Happiness challenge.
But no worries, I won’t deprive you of my regular blog posts either.
Here we go!
My first picture of happiness:
Our RSVP cards starting coming back in the mail! Thanks to everyone who responded so quickly. We’ve gotten 5 cards that add up to 12 responses! First and foremost, it’s exciting getting snail mail. I love to send it, but I love getting mail too. This mail is from our closest friends and family who are all coming to celebrate our big day. I can’t wait! (All of the RSVPs were yeses, by the way. People love us.)
I told Fiancé that all of our friends could sit on “his” side during the family because my family is so extensive.
I already have him out-numbered 3:1.
P.S. I’ll try to post my pictures every day, but these 100 days will overlap my wedding and honeymoon, so… don’t count on it then.
